Now he is mainly engaged in teaching in computer science, and software engineering. He has taught 10 undergraduate courses, including Java Programming, Programming Fundamentals and Software Engineering. He is responsible for teaching "Software Architecture" for graduate students and international students. Research interests including machine learning, network security, artificial intelligence music, and information systems. He has participated in a number of projects as the main attender, such as National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Defense 973 Project, Shaanxi Provincial Natural Science Foundation, etc.; he has participated in a number of enterprise horizontal cooperation projects.

He has published more than 60 papers in related academic research fields, and many of them have been indexed by SCI, EI, ISTP and CSCD. He has obtained many national invention patents and software copyrights. He has co-edited many textbooks and published one translation book.
